WELCOME TO THE NEW SITE

6.2.08 :: Hello there guys. I'm very very pleased to finally launch the website! As you know, it has been an extremely busy, exciting, and rewarding year as far as my music is concerned. Well, finally, I have a new place to put it all. Check back often as I am always updating to the best of my ability. The downloads section will get weekly additions ranging from my Rebel Audio radio show, as well as any odds and ends shit I would like you to hear!

As for me this month, it's been quite a rollercoaster. As you may or may not know, aside from the music, I'm also a very dedicated and serious architect student, so it's been a crazy few months juggling that and music production. But as you can see (hopefully), with "Tonight Is Forever", I like to think that I can pull it off. Well, the good news is that it is finally over (for now) and my creative juices are really flowing. I have finished track after track after track. Now I am just going back and perfecting.

What kinda tunes can you expect, you may ask? Well, I just finished a real storming hell of a vocal trance tune with the very talented American vocalist from Cali, his name is Marcel Clybourne. Look out for that very soon, I'm EXTREMELY excited with how it came out. I've also finished a few very exciting and a bit experimental tunes. They've got that same euphoric feeling as my other tunes but maybe a bit more abstract and a bit less "hands-in-the-air", so we'll where those go! That's it for now, check back for further updates as often as I can.

COMING TO EUROPE

6.3.08 :: As you may or may not know, I will be in Europe this summer for July and August. As you can imagine, I'm extremely excited, and for the firs time will be having some international gigs that I'll be playing at. I have confirmed my gig in the Czech Republic at the club called Fabric in Ostrava, which I'm very excited about. I will be there for several days, so anyone in the area, please introduce so I am not alone for 3 days haha! More confirmed bookings are to come and I will be putting those up on my Myspace and this very page as soon as they are. Keep checking back to the site for updates, thank you!

Also, this month's been a very heavy release schedule for me. Go to Beatport.com to see my past few releases, including my new single "Tonight Is Forever" (including Martin Roth and Paris Nova remixes), as well as my remixes for Emotional Horizons' "Lush", Maciej Panczyk's "Truth In My Dreams", and Majai's "Phoria", all very different, but all very fun tunes that I enjoyed working on. Check it out!

BACK IN AMERICA

8.29.08 :: What can I say about my trip to Europe that can't be told in the hundreds of pictures (via Facebook/Myspace). Well, I started my travels in Italy, played a small venue there called For All which I am close friends with the owner. It is like the EDM equivalent of an open-mic spot, with awesome electronic music every night. He gives me my own nights there and I ended up recording a few of my Rebel Audio episodes live there. It is located in Fano, a small city in Italy which is right in the middle of the summer nightlife capital of the Emilia-Romagna region.

July 3rd came and I made a trip up to Milano and the lakes (to say hi to George Clooney). The day after, I left for Czech Republic. What can I say about Czech Republic other than that I fell in love with it for 4 days! The food, the beer, and most of all the people (and the women)! On the 5th I was to play at Fabric, a big club in Ostrava. I was very pleasantly surprised as it was a very great crowd, and met a lot of people who really knew a lot about my music, which is always great to hear. Apparently, there are a lot of listeners of my show there too! The promoters, two brothers Padre and Martin Gredner, were absolutely awesome hosts and I can't wait to go back there again. My 4 hour trip back from Ostrava to Prague on an overnight train was quite the experience too, it was straight out of a movie. Even though my heart was racing at times (80% of the people on the overnight train were drunk and didn't know English), I have some awesome stories for the kids (when I have them)...

Then it was back to Italy for a few more low-key gigs. Unfortunately, I was offered a great booking in Ukraine but I had to turn it down due to circumstances beyond my control. Don't worry Ukraine, I owe you one next year! A friend of mine then came to visit and that was a blast in itself. For two months my daily schedule consisted of 1) waking up around 1PM, 2) going to the beach with a Corona in hand, 3) a 4PM 2-3-4 liter white wine bing session with my Norwegian brethren, and 4) some sort of party/club/shitshow at night, only to fall asleep at 5AM and do it all over again. It does feel good to be back in reality here in New York City though, and I can't wait for what the next few months hold for me gig-wise. I have loads of new tunes I am on the verge of finishing, each based on a different inspiration of the places I've visited or plan on visiting. For example, one is called "One Night In Prague" and another "Lost Angeles"... Look forward to hearing those very soon!! Cheers :)
